Fellowships
Global Anaesthesia Fellowships
This fellowship is arranged through the Nuffield Department of Anaesthetics and is open intermittently to anaesthetists at trainee or post-CCT level who are eligible to work within the NHS. Half to one day per week (depending on clinical service needs) is allocated to global anaesthesia activity based in Oxford alongside clinical commitments (which include out of hours working) at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. Fellows are also encouraged to contribute to the activities of the OUGSG. For more information, please see the department's fellowship webpage.
Academic Clinical Fellowships
Academic Clinical Fellow posts are available to trainees in all specialties within a UK training scheme and allow trainees to continue clinical training alongside dedicated time for research in their area of interest. We support trainees wishing to undertake ACF posts related to global surgery and anaesthesia. For more information on upcoming posts and how to apply please see the Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School (OUCAGS) pages.
