Mr Radu Mihai will discuss 'Maximally invasive surgery is thriving in the era of robotic surgery'.
Mr Shad Khan will speak on 'Adrenalectomy and outcomes from adrenal metastasis'.
Biographies
Mr Radu Mihai has been a Consultant in Oxford since 2007 and is currently the President Elect of British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS).
He has been a very active presence in activities of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons as member of the Exec Committee (2012-2021), as an examiner for the European Diploma in Endocrine Surgery (2007-) and as author of several European guidelines for management of endocrine tumours.
Mr Shad Khan is Consultant Endocrine & General Surgeon based at the Oxford University Hospitals. He completed his surgical training in London.
He is the highest volume endocrine surgeon in the U.K. specialising in complex parathyroid, adrenal and thyroid disease.
The Chief Medical Officer has confirmed that attendance at the Surgical Grand Rounds can count toward internal CPD, with 1 point awarded per hour. Please note that in-person attendance is required, and you will need to sign the attendance register.
