He won the award for his research, ‘Systematic Review of Children’s Surgical Volume and Variety Comparing DGHs in LMICs and HICs’.
Dennis (pictured left with Professor Kokila Lakhoo and Mr Sean Marven, the BAPS President Elec) is a final year DPhil student under the supervision of Professor Lakhoo, Professor Ashok Handa, Mr Noel Peter and Professor Godfrey Muguti within the Oxford University Global Surgery Group.
His research focuses on a school-based educational intervention for prevention of paediatric injury in Zimbabwe.
