Our team
The trial is led by Dr Fadi Issa (PI), Dr Paul Harden (Co-PI & Clinical Lead), Professor Peter Friend (Chief Investigator) and Dr Joanna Hester (Immune Biology Lead), together with Professor Giovanna Lombardi of King’s College London, senior researchers from TRIG, the Oxford Transplant Centre, the University’s Surgical Trials Intervention Unit, Oxford University Innovation, and the BRC GMP facility at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
The TWO Study Trial Management Group (TMG) includes those individuals above together with Monica Dolton who is the TWO Study Project Manager, Dr Sarah Deakin; the IP lead from Oxford Innovation and Damien Haywood from the Surgical Intervention Trials Unit in NDS (SITU). Also on the TMG are Professor Kathryn Wood (Professor Emerita, University of Oxford and Joanna Black from OCTRU (The Oxford Clinical Trials in Research Unit).
